Trout fishing in the bay!
Walking in the flats and fishing in the sound of San Jorge was so gentle and relaxing walk, as I years. Nightlife bed early, my brother and left the rest of our family vacation and went beyond St. George Island State Park, Florida. We explored the area the day before and found that the landing area in the park is not deep enough to launch the boat safely. The island was still digging in the sand because of Hurricane Dennis.
As I could not put the boat in the water there, just pull the truck, boat and trailer in an area near the right shade for the water and decided to go. It was a beautiful morning and almost had to wade into the bay from us at 8:00 am. There was a kayaker paddle about half a mile from us.
The sound of running water around my knees, the morning sun, picturesque and fog on the water this morning gorgeous. We reduced slowly around the oyster bars that seem to exist across the bay. About half a mile away, I saw a boat moving cautiously through the open water of the bay, being careful not to run aground because the water would change from 4 m depth to 0 in a flash!
Before leaving the bank had stored my fishing vest with a pair of spoons, a gold medal and a silver. This was the only front that was me. I have to go through a nylon mesh bag to take my fish if I'll eat later. I also put my license in Florida non-resident fishing in a zipper bag and put it in one of many pockets of my jacket.
Connect my gold spoon, I throw on weeds in the harbor. I had not recovered more than a few feet when something grabbed him and the other side of the bay. After some wild forays along the route between the two oyster in the feet in water to the waist, brought the fish to me. It was a nice trout of about two kilos. I continued wading along the coast and then worked my way further into the bay. During this time I caught a trout more.
Tired of not seeing another fish, I changed my money illusion. In some pans that had a fish of good size at the end of my fishing line. This Sometimes I felt that I had hooked a concrete block. He brought to the surface of the water. When we measured in inches of the mark he had painted in my bar, which proved to be 22 "long, well below the 18 to 27 inches of rules about the size of a goldfish. I put in my mesh bag was attached to my fishing vest and let him swim with two trout.
My silver spoon seems to be the bait the day within 10 minutes he had another fish on line. As I walked toward me, I saw it was another redfish, a little bigger than the first. Since I had already called my limited the Reds to the day I threw one in the bag and replaced by greater than it had taken.
Each fisherman has caught a good size is around to see if anyone else had witnessed great achievements. Visited the area around me and saw two other fishermen were now standing on a bench sand about two hundred yards away. There was also a kayaker had seen before, closer to me now, shop around oyster bars, enjoying morning. My brother seems to be that the law does not seem to have much success because they simply shook his head in disgust that I wanted the beauty which had been recovered.
When was about to throw back, I saw the kayaker near me. It was about to be irritated by someone invade my space fishing when the young girl who was rowing shouted "Are you Bob Alexander?"
However, it was scary! In downtown Apalachicola Bay, about 500 miles from home and someone "looking for? She has certainly not like a collector or IRS. For a moment I thought I'd be in the middle of an episode of The Twilight Area.
As the girl paddled closer, it turned out to be a mermaid with a gift! As I waved my hand in gratitude, she lifted the Ziploc bag that I used to carry and protect my license. Must have fallen from my pocket and drift in the wind where the woman was kayaker floating.
Not only did the early morning of fishing, but also experienced a miracle. Can not ask much more of a sunny morning June
