Be a shark smile when I see it!
My vacation to St. George Island, May was as relaxing as my last visit to this barrier island Apalachicola, Florida. Fishing in the surf on the east side of Gulf spit of sand 22 miles north-west of Florida, I found that for once I was the right place at the right time. The fish were biting and my daughter and I are doing our part to make this feast of good fishing.
My family and I were descended on the bay side of the island was just a stone's throw from the abyss. The day before had crossed the road that extends the state park on the east side, to the extent of the island on the west coast.
Out of bed early in the morning when you're on vacation, away from the stress and activity of a workplace-a day, not something that everyone wants to do. So the next morning when the sun began to draw line bright orange and yellow, had a cup of coffee fishing gear, bait bucket and folding chair, then crossed the road alongside the beach of the Gulf.
While looking for a place where I can park my equipment and prepare fish, I realized I was completely alone. To my left, then my right, I could not see a single person! There were seagulls and pelicans wait to see if I only throw the whole food in their own way, but there was another human being in sight!
This must be some kind of miracle, made possible only divine intervention. I recorded this phenomenon, take pictures up and down the beach, knowing that nobody could believe there was a beach in Florida, which has not been a swarm of people at any time of day!
God certainly has a sense of humor. He prepared me and I had no idea what would happen. I just knew I was a little afraid of view of the gulf and know you're the one in the world who enjoy the beach at this location and at that time.
Digging up my bucket of live bait shrimp caught a big care to keep behind the sharp horns. I was sufficiently blocked in the past to know that when I toured with them, it hurts!
I worked with a weight of 2 ounces of lead to keep the bait pyramid on the bottom and I'm not current tour. This great weight also allowed me to throw the bait about 40 feet in the Gulf of Mexico. As my shrimp decreased water, I saw a large fin breaking the water just 30 meters from where I was!
As I watched the dorsal fin to disappear in shallow waters, I marveled at the closeness of the dolphins went to the shore. Then as the head of water surface, turned towards me and then I looked in the eye and smiled! Was such a large brown, blue shark! I know that sounds absurd, but I know a smile when I see one, and he smiled!
I am not an expert on sharks, but I knew there was a black-shark tip due to its dorsal fin is not diverted to black. Great logic! It could have been a bull shark, nurse shark, or a hundred. All I knew was that there was a lot of teeth!
Disappeared under the water and I was looking for my rod tip dipped in the arena and the line was screaming from the reel and slide retains the line breaks. Enter the bar while I held him I ate my shrimp made a mad dash to Cancun!
Here's the part that God would punish me for past sins and indiscretions. I knew I had to be shark that was hooked! He knew it too. He also knew that probably nobody would believe me because there were no witnesses who saw the shark and he could return to my story, maybe because my fish have a way to grow with each telling of the story!
My line has erupted with a wink that the shark has decided to run for open water. It was fun while it lasted, and nobody believes me when I returned home. God can choose odd hours to get back to you.
