Do you have a preference for making hook? I know that some styles, some in fact, occur only manufacturing. I was not in production, more a hobby for me and friends. I do not use the eyes of the blind or shovel. However, in general, is the mark of favor on others? I use a lot of Daichi and Tiemco, Mustad few. I feel the steel and acute chemical points are higher, but I use Gamigatsu FORMS rainbow trout.
No real preference. Deputy primarily for trout fishing training, rarely more than 8, but often at the bottom at # 22. Daichi and Mustad are registered to my shop to go home and have what I use if I get them, but only because they are there. I very occasionally how the Internet if there is a good deal on hooks, if the fishing shop, or if you need something weird, but I prefer to support my local store. Well – chemically sharpened hooks are the best, but in sizes attach the more I think that all hooks are cut that way, yes, it's kind of not considered. I have a lot of hooks that have been identified in several birds – when unlock (as no bending or breaking the tip of the hook) go directly to the queue for sharpening and re-bound. I am not a professional but enough fish catch I do not care for and honestly, I do not have much to do with the brand of hook. If the brand of hook is a factor that has to be a child. So Dame namebrand hooks at a reasonable price, on sale from time to time, and I'm happy.
