How do you correctly prepare carp?
Ok. I went fishing the other weekend and I caught a carp. I prepared it like I would any other fish, but when I tried it, it tasted like mud! I’m from U. S., and visiting Britain and I met a guy that said he knew how to prepare a carp for eating, but when I asked him about it, he said it was a family secret. How do you properly prepare those fish? I hate just ctching and releasing.
Actually, I was wondering about preparing carp when I’m back in the states. They’re an invasive species here.

In England we prefer catch and release my friend. Carp don’t get into most rivers or lakes by accident. Anglers pay money to put them in there, and then they show concern for their care and welfare.
