What fish can co-habitat for trout?
I built a fresh water pond which is fed by a stream that live naturally in trout, but I would put some other fish in the pond would not be in direct competition with the trout and the assessor can easily generate. I do not want the tent, or any other species that may be invasive.
Your best bet would be to connect with local fish and wildlife service. Some states are even kept in stock for you, depending on the size of the pond and other considerations. Fish and Wildlife surely know what would be legal to stock.
