What kind of rod and reel would be better?
I'm 16 and I'm looking to get into fly fishing. I fished all my life but fly-fishing and never wanted to know if anyone knew a sturdy rod and reel for a beginner with a budget of only 500 $.
take someone who averaged more than 20 hours per week of fishing throughout the year. Orvis is something nice, but not best and the price, it is unlikely to find two in your price range. 20 years ago were the best, but for years the quality has not kept with an increase in its price. I do not spend too much on a new platform, as likely to break anyway. TFO rods are totally decent and affordable, good stems and to ensure learning in the bar if you break it (most companies the reality for a small fee, usually $ 50). Cabela's made some very good deals in the rod and reel in your own brand and are in fact stems Nice and prizes to choose from, ranging from $ 70 to about $ 400 for the top line number L-technology. I had the opportunity to provide and Technology The sprues are good, could be a bit of action in the middle for a beginner though. I'd go for something along the lines of PT or LST for about $ 250 and save the rest of your money to flies and leaders, including $ 70 – $ 120 costumes are nice and usually come with the line and back. if you want the best, but you have to pay for it. Winston and Sage are some of the most beautiful bar you will find anywhere little things such as Thomas & Thomas. for speed, as waders, boots and vests Simms is by far the best you'll find. My vest orvis super Tak-l-pac lasted less than a year before sewing around pockets started (and I hate to run my boxes flies along the river), my jacket Simms G3 is much better and handles the load much better (after about 4 hours fishing Back Orvis start to hurt, not Simms) and as regards the boots I did not start last half as long as my Simms and none is more comfortable and I like though the new guide boots with rubber soles, much lighter. make the best waders you can find, but if you have a larger budget lines Cabela's are the others I've seen it copied the design Simms crotch and he moved between his legs in front or back of the leg. shooting is where most shorebirds I've had in the past have done, is the rub both legs during walking and the next thing you know your feet wet. I had a orvis zero gravity I hated it, the action did not work for me. have been a good rod for large rivers, but I like rivers and only very small orvis not charged, unless there was a lot of line in the water and do not call not in a bar and 40 feet of my Winston (my favorite) and sage, two were performed for near and far. keep in mind that the action bar is a very personal thing you learn as you increase your experience. Good luck.
