I just I am a novice fisherman. I've only been fishing in small streams that have trout. so any advice is helpful. if we r lures r will use the best in Black River Falls Wisconsin fishing in a lake called Lake Serenity
Fishing for sunfish / glasses, I would try a hook dish with a small piece of a robot night (about an inch long). I fish Lake Champlain, also a fresh north lake, and thus the bluegill are now. A cork adjusted to 2.4 feet is also possible, depending on the amount of weeds. If there is a lot of weeds, I would go with a cork. These fish hit on the occasion attracts, but my best luck has been with live bait. Spikes (maggots) in a small team also works. For bass, there are some options. To capture more, I would try a Senko worm. (Gary Yamamoto plastic worm). I like black with flashes red. If it is low in the same area as the "gills, then do not be surprised when they reach the small pieces of night lines too. (I took four, while fishing for bluegill today, but that is typical of this lake that is loaded with smallmouth.) Spinners Rapala and work well too.
Good luck and have fun fishing
