Can a freshwater bass boat be used in calm Salt water Bays, or is corrosion a problem?

You can run it in salt water all you want. Just make sure to clean the boat good and flush the engine thoroughly, that mean 3to5 min or until the water coming out of engine does not taste salty.
You can get a engine flusher at any marine store
